According to the Coalition for the Homeless, in recent years, homelessness in New York City has reached the highest levels since the Great Depression of the 1930s.


On July 23, 2016, Stand Tall, Inc. provided a group session for members of Back on My Feet who were training for the New York Marathon. The 3 hour morning included individual gait assessments while Clients were running followed by a class that included a variety of running tips. Clients were instructed on the bio-mechanics of running, proper nutrition and hydration as well as the importance of proper foot care and shoe and sock selections.


On November 1, 2016, Stand Inc. began providing individual evaluations and assessments to Clients at The Fortune Society located at 625 W. 140th Street. The Fortune Society’s vision is to foster a world where all who are incarcerated or formerly incarcerated will thrive as positive, contributing members of society. This is done through a holistic, one-stop model of service provision. Stand Tall, Inc. is the newest service provider to Clients.

Beginning March 1, 2016, Stand Tall, Inc. will begin seeing Clients at Pride Site, a division of Educational Alliance located at 25-29 Avenue D. The Educational Alliance provides outpatient and residential drug treatment, as well as a drug prevention program.  All programs are comprehensive, confidential and customized to a client’s needs. Stand Tall, Inc. will be providing individual and group physical therapy sessions.
